Christian Thomson
Christian started surfing on the Isle of Wight in the UK, at the age of 9, progressing to a longboard at the age of 18 and into a full sponsored position till the age of 26. Sponsored by Fat Face Clothing and O’Neill wetsuits, Christian travelled to over 40 countries. During this time Christian created Errant Surf and moved to Loredo, Spain. Christian also volunteered his time as the Chairman of Surfing GB.
In 2012 his wife Theresa was diagnosed with aggressive Lymphomia and as a young family moved to Langley, Canada. Over the course of the following years, Theresa regained her health, and Christian created and grew Marwick Marketing.
In 2017 the Thomson family moved to Sooke, on the south coast of Vancouver Island to be closer to the ocean. In 2018 Christian returned to competitive surfing by taking the national title and qualifying to represent Canada in the World Games and the Pan-Am Games.
